- Being on day 6 of the 30 day Jillian Michaels Shred
- Getting at least one other person to Shred as well (I will get more I swear)
- Not playing soccer (Memorial Day and what not)
- Seeing a cute baby
- Going to a picnic at my aunts
- Making rice crispy treats for the picnic
- Getting a nice pink dress for the shower from my sister
- Hanging out lots with my mom and even her dog friend

- Buying produce
- Being annoyed with work (who isn’t really)
- Hating sales people
- Hating trucking companies
- Loving coco roasted almonds (YUM)

- Getting an octopus necklace that I should have bought in the 1st place

- Looking at Elvis on a mug, post-it, and dashboard…until he fell off.

And NO dude on the phone you telling me my name is cute, does nothing more but make me wish a plague upon your house! And not because my name isn’t cute but because you’re a stupid sales person who thinks that by flirting with me I will get whoever you want on the phone and secretly I was hoping he wouldn’t be available and he wasn’t! Eat that!

Also how good is the Amber Alert if your coworker takes the fax they sent with the information and throws it out. LOL I understand that she most likely had no idea what to do with it or if it was even real but tax money was spent on sending those faxes out and who wants to bet more then just my coworker threw it right out. It’s just funny that’s all. (Ok and maybe a little sad)

Can I get a hand?

So last night was fun…after the food that is. Before the food I was super crabby. Like they always say…make sure you feed the Topaz. My mom made a super cute necklace. We watched some TV. And I started playing with this fake hand thing my mom has. We decided it was a good thing to carry with you b/c you could use it to shake hands with people and even hold hands if need be.

I got my 30 day Shred DVD so I need to start doing that like yesterday!! I want to be cute for the beach time and the wedding I’m in. Also it would be nice to be a little more in shape for soccer. Not that I think the DVD will work miracles just that it might motivate me to do other work out type things. I already feel the burn from soccer…who wouldn’t feel it running back and forth for 2 hours.

A fun thing, I get out early on Friday! Super happy about that!! I think I will be going to the produce junction that day. And maybe trying to find a dress to wear to the shower for the wedding I’m in or some kind of outfit. We have to wear pink or yellow or pink & yellow or yellow & pink. LOL. The pictures should look neat with everyone wearing the same colors. Weddings are so much fun…

Alright on that note have a super fun Wednesday people. And I mean it.

Jim Thorpe, A skull, and food!

Soccer night was amusing as always. Guys knocking into me b/c I am trying to get in their way apologizing to me. LOL “Sorry, sorry, sorry.” But I ran into you… Some of them were asking my name last night I guess they wanted to call me something other then “girl.” “What’s your name?” “Topaz” “Joepaz?” “NO TOPAZ.” “OH Topaz.”

This weekend was awesome! It started out awful. I got out of work at 4:00pm and proceeded to have a flat tire 10 minutes down the road! Lucky for me a nice man put my spare on for me. 200$ and 2 hours later I had 2 new tires and an aligned car. Sounds fun doesn’t it? Come on you know it does!

After the whole tire thing I was on my way with my friend Kristin to Jim Thorpe. Where lots of laughs, talking, picture taking, crocheting, and eating ensued! Angela our host was awesome and her baby girl Lily was super cute! (Still doesn’t make me want to have a kid let alone a girl.) We saw some crazy birds and some Jim Thorpe stores. We visited the Jail with the famous Hand Print (below). We remembered Vietnam veterans in our own special way. I became a member of the snuggie cult. And I found smencils. (Much more exciting in theory…the smencils that is and maybe the joining of the snuggie cult…)

Then Sunday upon my return I got to hang out with my sister and mother! We ate some chips and dip! And warm chocolate chip cookies! We painted! I painted my skull and they were trying to Donna Dewberry which my mom claimed is “Donna Don’t berry.” My sister on the other hand wanted the lady to shut up and go faster. They made up their own pretty flowers. Then we ate some very yummy Italian food and had to head home.

It’s Tuesday now and I await the start of a dreadful day! But fear not for me….i will survive. Have a swell Tuesday.

So last night I didn’t post the picture of the bag b/c I was:
Going to the bank
Going to the used book sale
Making dinner & lunch
Doing 3 loads of laundry in-between pouring rain
Cleaning up my room / car (no my car is not my room although this makes it seem like that is the case)
Taking the trash out
Charging my camera batteries (for the weekend ahead)
Cleaning my dishes from making dinner & lunch
Crocheting a new bag (got done 14 lines so far!)
Perfecting my couch sitting skills

So you see I was WAY busy….but I did post them today! Go me!

The bag

Tortilla day!

So it was TORTILLA day yesterday!! And i didn't even know it until 3:50pm! LOL But there was a tragic accident that almost ruined the whole celebration...Poor mom had a fight with plate, she was holding the nice hot yummy warm tortillas. Plate got all suicidal and took a kamikaze path for the floor. Where she ended her life and some of the lives of the tortillas. Those Poor tortillas were so hot and fresh they were mere moments away from realizing their true life callings by being eaten and enjoyed. Instead they were thrown out b/c no one likes to eat glass with their tortillas. Although i do enjoy some glass with my floor tortillas. Doesn't everyone?

Poor mom felt real bad after the accident. She still blames plate....don't we all. You were fancy plate and i guess you just weren't meant for tortilla holding. I guess you felt you were too good for those tortillas and that's why you ended things. BUT LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING! THOSE TORTILLAS WERE TOO GOOD FOR YOU!!!! YEAH that's right i said it! THEY were the good ones....NOT YOU! I'm sorry.....I'm a little emotional right now....i need a moment to recover... I'm a little verklempt...

OK Moving on! I finished the bag!! I will post pics tonight or tomorrow....depends on how lazy i get tonight when i get home. We went to target and i resisted the urge to buy the new prodigy CD! Good girl! Also i did not by the work out DVD i wanted b/c on the web it is about 5-6 $ cheaper is that messed up or what? We had fun as always.

Today i have a few goals:
Go to post office
Go to bank
Go to used book sale
Do Laundry
Exercise (and not the demons...my big booty!)
And maybe start another Bag (this one I'm super excited about b/c the colors are going to be so pretty!!)

You LIE! (Computer)

It’s 7:40am and I’m calling the computer a liar. That’s not at all insane right? It’s kind of cute…right? So last night I picked up my dress for my friends wedding. I suppose I find it hilarious that they only hold your close to 200$ dress for 3 days. And they only called me once to tell me this in a voice mail. Wouldn’t you think that they would call you the next day if they didn’t get a hold of you the 1st time….here is the secret…NO they wont.

Then I went to cancel my membership at the gym. Oh boy was that fun… the chiropractor with the creepy eyes (who happens to be very fat despite owning a gym and being a chiropractor) tried in a vein attempt to get me not to cancel. I wrote on my paper that they should get more new treadmills because they got 2 and that was it. So he shows me the 2 new ones…Yippee doo moron I knew you got 2 new ones that would be why I said get MORE new ones. I made them photo copy my cancelation form for me and hopefully it won’t take them eight million years to cancel it. (Bastards)

Then I went to the IVP library and I have a library card for Hatboro so the very nervous and shaky girl set me up so I can get books from IVP with my Hatboro card. She found that I had a 6$ fine from 2006 for a Jane Fonda’s Yoga…. DVD? VHS? Don’t know but I’m pretty sure she was full of shit b/c I didn’t even live in Telford in 2006. BUT I just gave her the 6$ rather then argue with her. She was super shaky and nervous… did I mention that b/c I feel it’s a very important part of the story.

Then I finally got home ate some awesome leftovers from the meal my mom made me on Sunday (yeah my mom made me food on mothers day). Then I cleaned out my purses so that instead of having crap amongst 5 or so purses everything is now in one. And I am so close to finishing the bag I am crocheting for my pen pal lady. I hope to finish it tonight when I get to my mothers. Also brace yourselves…I did….Laundry! GASP you say! What an exciting life she leads! I know…I know!

Look at all the above that I did IN one day! It’s only Wednesday yet I feel like it should have been Friday 2 days ago! I swear one of these weekends I am just going to sit and do NOTHING the entire weekend….. Yeah right. Most days I don’t want to do anything but I do stuff anyway and I usually am happy I did whatever it was. But it feels like I have concrete feet. As in I am dragging them along while I do things…does this mean I have a problem?

BUT tonight I get to go to my mothers! I never drag my feet doing that!! And sissy will be there! And yummy food! Oh food! I do love you. So I guess I should work or something…. Here goes to another day. Hope you are having a good week.

Soccer and such

Well shall we start with how my sister claimed her husband wasn’t feeling 100% yet he scored the 1st goal of the evening not to mention like 6-8 after that. Or we can talk about how I’m the only girl and I don’t talk a lot so most of the other guys (read old men) don’t know my name. So while getting a ball away from a guy I hear “Stay with it Girl!” And no not in the “You go girl” way more in the you’re the only girl on the field and I don’t know your name kind of way. LOL

Then lets talk about how they cuss a bit (read a lot) so one guy is yelling “Fuck!” Then he sees that I am near and he goes “Oh sorry, sorry, sorry.” Yeah if only he knew that I cuss like a sailor… Then it’s getting towards the end of the game and they are finally letting me near the ball more. The one guy says to me “just save all your energy for the end of the game b/c we all get tired out.” Thanks guy I know I stink but it’s not like the score is being kept and this is a world championship game. I only joined this for fun and exercise (which I know don’t belong in the same sentence). BUT I did have lots of fun so I thank my dear brother in law for bringing the soccer back to me!

In other news….I had a good weekend spent with Friends and family…and other people’s family and a cute chubby baby, who happens to be allergic to like everything poor thing. Well except cardboard. I am really low right now trying to keep myself from over thinking everything and trying to keep everything together. Yuck. I hate it. I hate feeling this way but not everyday can be a good one. I leave you with this…
