I promise.....

I know i say it all the time that i will blog more BUT this time I promise i will try to!! :o) AFTER this moving business is over with which give me 3 weeks to pack....move....unpack.....and feel human again!!!! Right now i am starting the packing faze......(the not so fun faze!)

But i will give you updates....
Christmas was great (other then the not seeing my family & friends part).
My little big sis and her husband NOT only liked their Christmas gifts but like their wedding gift as well!!! wahoo
My boss LOVED her blanket (or is really good at pretending) she wrapped it around herself the second she opened it and walked around in it for a bit!!!

Dan's step Dad Paul LOVED LOVED his scrap book of Cassidy! (i sort of knew he would) he was speechless which is impossible!! and which is awesome!!
I finally finished Dans scrap book which was year 2 of us. It was only 80 pages!! which even though 40 of them were smaller did not make the situation any better!! believe me!!! i'll have to post pics of some pages someday!!!
Oh and we all pitched in and bought Dans mom a new camera for Christmas and she Loved it to! a lot!!
I think my favorite part of Christmas is making people happy and or excited!

saving the best for last....
My mom was very pleased with her GPS even though she is a BRAT!! So i guess i know where i get it from!!! :o)

Now to wait and see if Katie and Charis like their gifts as well.......ahhhhhhh i had to send them their gifts b/c a. i'm not patient, b. i don't want to lose them in the move, and c. i'm not patient!!

OH YEAH i almost forgot....i'm going to finally take the plunge this year!!!! THE POLAR BEAR PLUNGE!!! Myrtle Beach is having their 1st annual Polar Bear Plunge and i am so there!! i've been wanting to for so long!!! I hope to have someone there to document it....but we shall see! i may have to take photos of myself which will require me to buy a water proof throw away!! what a way to start the new year off right!! don't you think?

Ok now i did this for my little big sis as a wedding gift but i don't know if it's too popsicle stick house or too poochie card so i'll have to wait and see what she says.....feel free to give me your thoughts as well.....here goes nothing!! i will try to post more words later but the Dan is home and we all know when hes home the computer is his!!

Another gift...

This is just a few pages and the cover for a scrap book i did for my Dan's step dad. He lost his dog this year (yeah little big sis i already here you....) anyways he lost his dog and his dog was like his child since he does not have any people children he turns to furry children! :o)

While i was not blogging

Been working on so many things i think my head will explode....not to mention i'll be moving soon......AHHHH

I'll start with the first thing i worked on. This is a gift for my boss her favorite college football team is the NB Huckers.....so here we go. Its sort of a mad scientist experiment....b/c i've never A. made a bunch of smaller squares and connected them or B. put trim on anything....so tell me if its not bad for a 1st time?!

Only me....

Is it sad that i know what day of the week it is based on what shows come on? I work everyday so i can't keep track of the days that way! So is it really sad? Especially since most of the tv i watch is utter CRAP!! Americas Next Top skinny bitch Model, Project Running aWay with fabric hot mess, The shitty Shot, Kitchen really is a Nightmares..... just to name a few!! I think i like to watch them b/c i love seeing people act like idiots on tv. I mean they know they are on tv so why are they doing this stuff? For instance on Kitchen Nightmares....this chef drops a chicken wing on the nasty kitchen floor....picks it right up and throws it in the fryer!!! OK MAYBE you do that all the time BUT your in front of a camera how about you pretend like you don't do that all the time? b/c lord knows i would NEVER eat at your restaurant!! EWWWW!!!

I could tell you my ultimate shame shows but then you may never look at me the same.

Frick on a brick

What a mad house work was today and i hear it will only become more insane on black Friday!! I think we have decided to camp out at Best Buy on Black Friday.....Laptop anyone!?! We are going to wear our snowboarding pants to keep warm! Good thing we live in the South were it's not as cold as the North! Here are two Poems written today amongst the crap of the day.....

Things that baffle

So this ad for the "Tattoo Removal Dr." happened to pass my way today. One of their selling points is that they can remove just part of the tattoo and no lie it said "Got a new gal? Need to remove a name of a past gal?" OMG really?! Come on while its a funny ad its sad. Things like that are what make the world a little more pathetic!

Tell me do i give off a certain signal that tells men (OK creepy men) that my boyfriend is out of town? B/c Dan went to GA for a night and day starting today and some how every creepy guy in a 20mile radius was talking to me, hitting on me, and even this guy promoting a crappy night club comes into the store to advertise a toga party they are having.....that has NEVER happened before so why on the night that Dan is out of town? Its aggravating!

More to the point i hate men in general hitting on me. Even if i didn't have a boyfriend i would hate it. I'm at the store buying socks and they have to whistle at me or say something stupid as i walk by. They follow me around the store. Really if i was single and you were doing that believe me i would not be like "oh that guy following me around Target let me go out with HIM." NO! When i go into a store i make a point to not make eye contact with anyone to go to the check out lane with the female and in general to be left the hell alone! So please get the hint you can not pick me up that easy.....NO!!

Why is it that the store can be empty for 2 HOURS but the second i order lunch the slowest dumbest jack crackers have to come in my store!! making my meal end up cold and congealed!! THANKS!

Finally, I'll leave you with this to think about. If you suck at your job at the very least can't you show up on time? Just a question.

They be drying up

My reproductive organs just shriveled a little more today. This family is in the store, buys a bag of treats. The little girl wants to "hold just the bag of treats." Meanwhile i have put the treats in a bag....cause that's what you do....you bag things people buy. So her Nana hands her the "bag" oh but she doesn't take it. NO she starts SCREAMING "I WANT JUST THE BAG, I WANT JUST THE BAG!!!!" then is crying at the top of her lungs!! Say good bye to me ever having little children/demons!! So Nana says under her breath "someone needs a nap." More like someone needs to get the hell out of my store!!!

When the last candy passed

So at the bakery we handed candy out to little demon children...i mean little trick or treaters. We had chocolate candy that we passed out which is a big deal b/c one little girl looked at me and said "YOU have CHOCOLATE!!" I said "I know." Another little girl i gave her a piece of candy and she then screams at me "I WANT M&Ms....I WANT M&Ms!!!" I was just like....um.....as her mom drags the little BRAT away. I would not have had a problem giving her M&Ms if she would have asked nicely! For example this little girl wanted a kitkat (after my own heart) i gave her a milkyway or something but she looks at me and says "could i have a kitkat please?" so i gave her a kitkat (no i didn't ask for the milkyway back). She at a young age already realizes the value of being sweet when she wants something. (I didn't learn that till years and years....ask my sister)
We still had candy left at the end of the night and i think it's Yoda's fault. I'll tell you why!! I saw him he walked over to the Christmas mouse BUT did he walk over to me NO!! YODA didn't come by my store, therefore i believe he used the force to make sure not all the kids came by my store leaving me with candy that i don't need my ass is big enough PEOPLE!!! Stupid Yoda! Although he did send the most greedy kid ever to my store little girl dressed like a clown (yeah you heard me a CLOWN as if that alone isn't bad enough), what does the demonic clown child do....she reaches in the bowl and just grabs a handful of candy THEN while I'm giving some to others in her KLAN (and yes there was another clown you know they don't travel alone!!) she grabs more handfuls!! NOT only that but maybe an hour later she COMES back GRABS more handfuls (yes there is an s meaning more then one)!! But at this point i figure i got to get rid of as much candy as i can!! So i say "Dang girl!"
There where two customes (besides Yoda who i didn't REALLY get to see) that i thought were totally neat. These people had their little baby in the stroller as an open oyster/clam and the baby was the pearl!!! HOW CUTE!! Then there was this little redheaded boy who was a penguin! SUPER cute!! Oh and how could i forget the little family of Pirates!!! Three little childrens all pirates with the youngest tiniest one a pink pirate!!
Also i feel i must mention the shy farmer. He had a little tin bucket as his Halloween treat bag. So his dad is like "say trick or treat," he says it. I reach to put the treat in his bucket and he quick pulls his bucket away and hides behind his dads legs! I wanted to GIVE him ALLLLLL the candy that's how freaking cute he was!!!!
Ok so my title is wrong the last candy has not passed yet.....but at the rate I'm eating it.....it will soon!

Yeah!

I have today off and its Monday!! i love having the worst day of the week off!! Friday you know rainy day, i think i had about 5 customers in the 6 hours i was there!! so i did read! lots!! you know work is slow when you can finish 2 500+ page books in one week!! I did get stuck reading the Dan Brown books....i followed some bad advice.....it would be ok if he actually had different books BUT everyone of his books are the same....a world crisis and a man and a women have to save the WORLD.....they happen to fall in love along the way! NO WAY! So i think I'm done with him FOREVER! Now i have about 5-6 romance books my mom gave me to read.....these should be fun! Also i need to watch Red Dwarf.....so i can stop her from asking me every time i talk to her...."did you watch red dwarf yet?" maybe after i go shopping today i will do that! B/c shopping trumps ALL other tasks! cleaning, reading, watching tv......everything....well except the computer look I'm writing!!

Rain might not be great for some people to endure....but on nights that i have to work rain is a blessing!! You know why....b/c the last thing tourist want to do on a rain filled night is shop for dog treats!! so i guess i'll be reading!! so I don't want it to go away!!

Lame

I'm lame! but i'm trying to get better at the blogging thing!!! really i am!! The past two weeks i have gone to Brookgreen Gardens. Which is a really awesome place in SC that few people that live here go to!! why when its so cheap and PRETTY i will never know! We also stayed at the beach house the past few days! I will post some photos so you can see my Honeys mad camera skills!! He is awesome with the camera!

Plus she gave me the most awesome picture of Elvis i have ever seen my mom even agreed with me! i'll have to post a picture.....but not today....today i am to lazy....OK so i'm lazy everyday.....what do you want!?! right now all my time is being consumed by Harry Potter.....i know your thinking what? but i am forced to read them b/c my boss loves them and she convinced me that it was the only way so once i started i pretty much can't stop......so maybe tomorrow i'll get some pictures on here of stuff that happened in PA! all four days.....it's amazing what you can cram into four days.....

The constant fight

So that mess up there is mine! it's my catch all spot if you will. and normally it would not be such a big deal......but if you look to the right....you'll see a dresser......nope not mine......that's my honeys dresser.

So we are always fighting about me keeping this spot clean....but it is so very hard i work two jobs for craps sake and i am always throwing stuff there just to be done with it for the day. he can't understand this and is always threatening to clean it up......but he just throws stuff out! so i cleaned yesterday!

Long days & short weeks

Now to know about me is to know a few things. I love family & friends. I love art & music. I write poems but often don't show anyone b/c no one seems interested. I live in NC and it is a work in progress. I am trying to find my spot in the world of work. I wish that i could work in film but i really don't know where to start. Editing is my passion b/c i love to put things together for the end product. I just signed up for a supposed film staff site. I'll let you know how that goes.

I currently work at a pet bakery and as a server in a banquet hall. The bakery is more fun as you can imagine. but the server pays more as again you can imagine. Serving people is so interesting. You get the people who act like you don't exist b/c your so far beneath them. Then you have the people that want to harass you over every little thing. Then there are those just please to have your company. I find people to be interesting, not one can be judged by the cover.
