Here are a few other yarn things i made along the way... don't be afraid...

Might i add that NONE of these items where actually for me!!  Further more i'm missing a bunch of stuff.  also apparently i really liked making that bag like i liked making the baby star blanket!  also there is a really neat football hat i made for my uncle (this snake hat was for him the next year... I took over my moms tradition of making him a crazy hat.)

A Fantastical Post of Yarn things

So this post is one i said i would do like a MILLION years ago.  Here we are... finally... phew do i feel old. So i bring you the magical post of yarn things that i have made for babies (i might post another post with other things i have made for not babies...) (and now maybe my sis will be happy inside as if she ate a warm chocolate chip cookie from chick-fil-a which those things are like crack... just saying... but if you get 1/2 a dozen (which i'm not saying i did...) they will NOT warm them up... which i think is a crime!  just saying.)

This was the 1st baby blanket i made... wow...

 And now i do fancy patterns and HATS!!!  i just made that monster hat this past weekend (the day before the baby shower.... shhhhhh)  (and i sometimes need help from my sis face on the logic of a pattern... she is the best.... the pattern whisperer if you will...)

1.  I will never have enough black stockings (with designs, fish nets, sparkly, never enough).

2.  There is this crack in the ceiling in my apartment that looks like a bug EVERY TIME I see it from the corner of my eye! UGH.

3.  My cell phone is 3+ years old and I secretly hope it lasts another 3+ years… it is not a “smart” phone.

4.  I’m totally obsessed with pretzel crisps… I’m sure their awful for me.

5.  I hate writing things in front of people b/c my spelling is awful and I have no concept of grammar (despite the class I took on it…).

6.  I'm super nosy... i love to know what is going on everywhere!  But i swear i play it cool... LOL

7.   I have inner dialogue with myself that makes no sense.

8. I wish like HELL i could workout in the morning before work again!  where did that super power get to?

9.  I miss swimming.

10. I LOVE HUMMUS. more please all the time!

1.  What is your favorite fashion era and why? Maybe the 50's loved the BIG skirts!

7.  Is the glass half-empty or half-full? It’s empty man… so empty.
8.  If you could live anywhere else in the world, where would it be? Right now I’d give New Zealand a try!
9.   If you could only shop at one store for the rest of your life, what store would you choose? I guess I’m going with Target.  They have clothes, shoes, purses, food, candy, soap, EVERYTHING and they aren’t wal-mart. 
10. Do you think leggings are pants or not? NOT pants… I have seen one too many bare asses through them or under ware to say they are pants…. NOT PANTS.
11.  If you were a fruit or veggie, what would you be and why? I’d be mushrooms b/c they are so yummy and people would love to eat me on lots of things!

Mind numb

The part of my mind that processes unhappiness at work is numb.  It's so over loaded and bogged down that it has chosen to go numb and abandon me.  Which is totally unfair because the poop is getting deep around here.  I was going to wear my rain boot today... i should have.

In other news super excited for my sis date tonight!!  Burritos and ice cream here we come!  Really nervous for my weekend... bank track game and running 10 miles down broad street... so nervous.  But i'm excited as well.  I hope we play a fun game sure winning would be nice but if we don't win i hope it will still be fun.  I'm excited to push my friend along the 10 miles so we can reach the finish again this year BUT this time she can celebrate it fully and not have her parade pooped on.  LOL

Before all that happens (the weekend) i have a practice to get through and flyering in the city to do and nerves to get out!  SO MUCH nervous energy! I guess that is what is fueling this post!  WOOOO.

Oh and i'm super happy and excited that Sharon Needles won the Drag Race title!  She is awesome and i hope to see her live and in person!!  Oh that will be so amazing!!!

Holy crap blogger changed things.

Yeah i'm guessing that will be a title for many people...

I was going to write hilariously enough about how sites keep "upgrading" things... i just feel like if it ain't broke why are you always trying to fix it (coughfacebookcough)??  But maybe that's the old lady in me that gets use to things and is happy with them being out of date.

I know it's been a really long time since i posted something... lets see what have i been up too... Playing Roller Derby (of course), training for a 10 mile run (that is happening in a week and a 1/2!), working (bleck), and in general trying to not go too insane.

Speaking of Derby... i have a game every other weekend for 4 games in a row... is that sane?  The day after two of those games i'll be doing some sort of run... that might be the more insane part.

The runs (that sounds bad) i'm doing this year:
May 6th - 10 mile Broad street Run
May 19th - RunAMuck (5K)
Aug. 4th (i think) - a Tri which includes Swimming, Bike riding (12 miles?), and running a 5K
Oct. 20th - OMG i'm going to die Tough Mudder follow that link and see the many ways i am going to perish.

This weather is insane... people in western PA getting SNOW?  in April... the END of April... what are you doing mother nature? 

I feel like i should have other very clever and magical things to post but for right now you'll have to settle for this random pile i just created above for you!

2) What was your favorite moment of the year? Getting MARRIED!
3) What was your least favorite moment of the year? The loss of Sally a very kind and wonderful person.
4) Where were you when 2011 began? Like on New years Day? I totally forget…ok I just looked back (thanks blog) I was scrap booking for my wedding!
5) Who were you with? Dan & George (apparently!).
6) Where will you be when 2011 ends? I was at a mystery murder dinner with Lucky & Ray and my honey head! And we had so much fun!!
7) Who will you be with when 2010 ends? I did it again! Look at the answer above.
8) Did you keep your new years resolution of 2011? i didn't have one. They are over rated and useless.
9) Do you have a new years resolution for 2012? See above.
10) Did you fall in love in 2011? I've been in love since 2005 :O)
11) Do you regret it? what? the year? or the love? b/c the answer for both is NOPE.
12) Did you breakup with anyone in 2011? Yes I broke up with my old last name. We had a good run together but it’s time for my Married last name to have a turn.
13) Did you make any new friends in 2011? Yes! I’m good like that. (LOL)
14) Who are your favorite new friends? Tiff & perhaps reader Kat she has a fun blog and great comments!
15) What was your favorite month of 2011? January!
16) Did you travel outside of the US in 2011? nope
17) How many different states did you travel to in 2011? A few but they were all boring.
18) Did you lose anybody close to you in 2011? A few people not 100% close to me but very close to others Cancer is an asshole.
19) Did you miss anybody in the past year? Sure I missed Honey when he was in NC, I always miss friends in other states, and I just miss people I don’t get to see very often.
20) What was your favorite movie that you saw in 2011? HARRY POTTER!!!! (ha hasn’t changed since last year.)

24) Did you have a favorite concert in 2011? Since I went to like 1 how about we go with that one! It was with Tiff Bell X1 I think… they were neat! And SHE was lots of fun!

26) Did you do a lot of drugs in 2011? Again Eww NO NEVER!! Even worse question then the one above!
27) Do you regret anything you've done this year? Usually you always feel like there is something you could have done different... (same answer as last year)

29) What was the worst lie someone told you in 2011? Too many to count.
30) Did you treat somebody badly in 2011? I don’t think so… but I may be giving myself too much credit.
31) Did anyone treat you badly in 2011? Other than the usual suspects of life. Not that I’m aware of.
32) How much money did you spend in 2011? I have no idea… is that something people keep track of?
33) What was your proudest moment of 2011? Getting Married! Do you see a theme?
34) What was your most embarrassing moment of 2011? I don't know...i'm over all pretty embarrassing... (same answer as last year LOL)
35) If you could go back in time to any moment of 2011 and change something, what would it be? I would have pushed that old lady at the post office and knocked her down to the ground while grabbing her cane and laughing at her. (wait… that’s maybe not what you meant…)
36) What are your plans for 2012? Work, get paid, skate, workout, and be married :O).
