Wall of fun...The head came off for a bit so i wouldn't die! I wanted to be hard core... but it was too hard. LOL

Mud, Skates, & Soccer...

The mud run turned into more of a walk... and once you see the photos (my next post b/c my friend is picking them up today) you will understand why! BUT it was super fun! Our costumes were awesome... they will never beat our 1st year (wedding dresses (i'll post photos of that as well)) but we tried! It was fun helping out even if people are CRAZY. They give you a shirt (most runs do) and my friend and i were in charge of handing them out. So we have them arranged sm to 2XL on the table. We heard "are these all the same size?" more times then i can count. Mind you after asking "what size do you need?" I asked one lady and she said "I DON'T KNOW YOU TELL ME! YOUR SUPPOSED TO KNOW!" Um... i am?! We had people trying on different sizes until they felt they got the perfect one... AND LORD help us b/c the Larges had Black print instead of Grey and BOY did that not go over well! People want fair and even! DO NOT MAKE THINGS DIFFERENT or suffer their wrath! OY! Then i wonder... am i that annoying? I do hope not.

SO after a long morning of Mud stuff i had to prepare for my derby game in the evening. Some day i'm gonna post photos of all my game make-up... but clearly not today. Anyhow... the game was super awesome. It was hard hitting but we owned that pack. We set the tone in the very beginning and kept it going. They got dirty once they figured out they were going to lose but we still kept them in check! I think the score was 78 to 48... not 100% about that b/c I AM TERRIBLE at looking for the final score. I just know we won and i'm like YEAH! LOL Next up bank track scrimmage! Awesome!!

Now on to the possibility of soccer! I wrote my local community soccer program to find out if they ever have adult games and someone wrote me back and told me that in the fall they do! Of course he didn't give me any other information (typical male behavior... just saying). SO i wrote again asking how one gets info on such things?! LOL Clearly buddy i am very much interested YES!! So hopefully it does not end up being a dead end... or a scary competitive game where people (men) think it's the end of the world if they don't win. I hate those kinds of soccer games past the age of 18... i'm clearly playing for fun... why aren't YOU?

I think my sis comes back from vacation tomorrow!!! I CAN'T WAIT!! LOL i hope she had a great time! the worst part is when something happens you want to call or text them and be like OMG!! That's why i stole our journal and wrote all those moments in it so i wouldn't have to try and keep track of them all on my own! LOL Anyways... today is only Tuesday! I hope the weather gets it's act together for the weekend b/c i REALLY want to go backpacking!! BAD!

Pu Pu Platter

So it's day 1 without my sister to chat with through e-mail during the day. and to that i say Pu pu platter!! She is on vacation! HOW DARE SHE! lol My friends e-mail a little with me as well BUT it's not the same.

The mountains are healing nicely! Mine is still so itchy which makes me twitchy and bitchy. LOL Honey head's seems to be fine. Lucky. Except he has an ear infection and a cold... so i guess he isn't so lucky after all.

I have my mud run on saturday! i can hardly contain myself!!! AHHHHHHH. I really can't wait. it should be so much fun! and mud filled THEN i have a game after! that means i can stuff my face full of food the whole day... right? LOL or not. hmmmmm.

Oh so i got a pizza slammed into my back. No i wasn't in a food fight BUT that would be neat. I was just finished my dinner with my honey and i was seated right by the door that leads to the outdoor dining. Well lesson learned there anyways... a waitress is coming in from outside with a tray full of left over pizza (thank goodness NOT HOT pizza) and the door whacked her in the butt which caused everything in her hands to go flying out! too bad i was in the way of the floor where the pizza wanted to land. And i was wearing a really neat WHITE shirt with a pirate ship on it for the 1st time. Dang. They offered to dry clean it for me (a t-shirt) or buy me a new one (i bought it like 6months-year ago... good luck with all that). OH sad pizza shirt.

Wow look at the news i bring... pizza slamming news. i am one exciting lady.

Ok i guess i'm done trying to fill the void of my sis on vacation. have a super Thursday!

A MOUNTAIN you say...

So some exciting things... some bad things.. and here we are at Tuesday.

Exciting: Finally got my happy fun wedding tattoo! The HUSBAND is getting his tonight! He designed it and my awesome derby sister Wiggy Smalls (Carole in real life) inked it! She did an amazing job on mine so i can't wait to see it on the husband!! Fun fun fun!

More exciting: My friends and I got together last night to plan our backpacking trip. Super exciting. We crack ourselves up endlessly so being in the woods for 2 days should garner an endless supply of funny. Along with you know exercise and experiencing the outdoors!

Bad things: start with the worse get it out of the way... a 9 year old girl who was a week away from her 10th birthday was murdered in my home town! NOT only that but she was a daughter of a girl i was friends with in middle school (she didn't end up going to my high school). SO DAMN SAD! They suspect and have in custody a neighbor who is either a 25 year old man or a 40 year old man (conflicting reports on age) either way... an adult... no REASON to be messing with a child. SHAMEFUL!

Another Bad thing: No where near the same level as above... This local radio station is having a contest to give away a boob job. That's all fine and good BUT my problem is with their promo of the contest. you hear a guy say "I like them small... i'm not a big boob guy." then the announcer says "LYING... ladies that's a big lie." or something like that... and they go on to say how TERRIBLE it is to have B cups or little boobs... how AWFUL a ladies life is if she has smaller boobs... WOW. Thank goodness i don't buy into THAT SHIT or this would have pushed me into a downward hate spiral. Boobs of any size are great. I know some girls hate their small ones and MORE girls hate their big ones. I am content with my little girls. They serve their purpose and i don't appreciate a radio station trying to convince me that i'm unattractive solely based on the size of my boobs. GROW UP! They maybe be able to trick i'm sure hundreds of girls to send boob shots in that they can use for years to come... but it's not gonna work on this girl. Too bad you can't make no one apply for that contest b/c there has to be a better way to get girls to apply then to shove their self esteem into the ground and stomp on it!

Final bad thing: It is a bad season right now for Grandmas... so love yours and hold her close if you got one you hold dear.

I'll end with something good... you know... Mothers day was great! We got my mom to clean (i know that sounds bad) and we took her to dinner! And she almost used her magical ninja mom skills to find my tattoo. But i don't think she ended up finding it. Also she has lost 16 lbs! i am so proud of her! She is really sticking to her diet! GO MOM!!

You see the AWESOME HIPPO costume... outfit... how can i properly glorify it? LOL isn't it amazing? i believe it is. sure it's 300$ but i hope someday it will be mine... even if it's giant and would take up a bunch of room... the husband says he might leave me... damn.

So this past Sunday i ran the broad street run in Philadelphia. 10 miles... and it wasn't that bad. The best part was getting my friend to the finish line. She did awesome! Well WE did awesome. Considering these factors: She has size F or H boobs (yeah), she has a bad knee, she was fighting a cold, & last year this time she was dying doing a 5k (3.1 miles i think)! She did amazing and it was so awesome to be there with her. Now she can get knee surgery and we will do it again next year and improve on our time (2 hours and 14 minutes). I'm excited.

Next up is Run-A-Muck! It will be here before i know it. It is only a 5K so it should be mostly fun and not so much "work." It's an event where you can wear costumes. Last year my team and i wore wedding dresses. We got them so muddy and yucky it was awesome. I don't think we can ever top that we do have a fun plan for this year... stay tuned to see!

Things i find a little annoying: The OBL stuff... ok so he is dead. That's super but the war still isn't over, people still have so much hate for USA... and us acting like idiots isn't helping. Did we need to stoop to their level and celebrate in the streets? That's what they did when 911 happened... while i don't think we owe them respect i just feel like we are better then that. Plus again this small victory kind maybe put a little ding in our bigger problems. What a mess.

Ok well it's only tuesday so i can't do my happy friday dance BUT i can dream! You have yourself a super happy yummy day! :O)
