So a little list of things I am trying to follow or do or something:
1. Wear my hair down at least once a week to work
2. Not buy cereal, snacks, or frozen yogurt until current stock is gone UNLESS there is a super giant happy sale (b/c saving money is always nice).
3. Buy more things at thrift stores.
4. Wear more Jewelry (especially since I will be going to the Bead Show this weekend!).
5. Oh don’t buy more tea until giant stock pile of current tea is down some… Also in that same category don’t buy hot tea from other places make my own damn tea.
That is just my tiny list of things to follow and or do to make for a better me. (also seems a thriftier me…)
Other things to talk about… Well my Honey and I had a little mini vacation and it was wonderful. Often times I overlook (is that what I’m looking for) the little tiny ways my honey shows he cares. But on our mini vacation those things somehow magnified and I was able to just relish in them and realize how great our relationship is. Maybe that all sounds gooey with gooey coating but it’s the truth. Like I have been you know watching what I eat and working out like a crazy lady the past 5 months or so… and the past few weekends I went to places just to eat. I got to forget calories and to just enjoy good food. SO Honey says “I like that you want to go places just to eat… its good.” That simple statement made me really happy b/c he wasn’t telling me to back away from the double scoop gelato cone or to put down the millionth hand full of carmel popcorn…. He was enjoying me enjoying myself.
It was also an interesting time b/c we spent the long weekend with his dad and stepmom… something we never have really done for more then 2 hours. It was neat to hear stories of little Honeyface. Also it’s nice to see him getting along with his dad (is that what I’m looking for?). While I know it’s not all sunshine and butterflies (their relationship) it’s nice to see happy moments when you can.
Then my mini vacation was rounded out nicely with mom & sis time! We had a good night of bargain hunting (our favorite) & food (2nd favorite… I don’t know…). I get to hang out with them again at the BEAD SHOW…. Not the same as the JEM SHOW… but almost the same! LOL and it’s the BEAD Show… not the BEACH YO… or BEACH OW. NOPE the BEAD SHOW. (yeah I know.)
Last night at Derby I got a nice slice of butt burn! YEAH! Makes for a super hot below butt cheek burn/ rash looking thing. It also reminds me that I play derby not happy fluffy yummy pillow time. As I told my sister this AM…I make this statement for the players that act all shocked when they get hurt… like… how…could…this HAPPEN?! Oh yeah knock knock… YOU PLAY DERBY! That’s not to say I don’t understand someone being upset or being hurt… it’s just how are you shocked you got hurt?

Yes... really... do tell!
Still working out which to me is a surprise I have been keeping up with a good workout routine now for almost 6 months! I guess it helps that I have Roller Derby 2 times a week. And it helps that I see actual results of my labors! But to keep things ever changing so my body doesn’t get use to the same old same old I have amped it up this week. I started using a 5 lb weight in places I would use a 3 lb one and I use the 5+3=8 lb weight in places I was using the 5 lb weight. I am totally feeling the change so it’s pretty bad ass! LOL (note that i am not a member of any gym i have done this whole weight loss muscle gain with just DVDs, hand weights, and running / walking... oh and roller skating! LOL)
I know however soon (like maybe this week) I’ll have to purchase a new DVD or 2 because I really need to change things up to avoid the body getting use to everything and burning hardly any calories at all. I really want a good cardo DVD. Jillian’s Banish Fat Boost Metabolism has been very good to me so it would be great to find something just as wonderful! I suppose the research shall begin! I might have to become a member of Netflix to try out workout DVD’s… I’ll have to see what their collection includes. Hmmmmmm….
Other things in life include blah blah and blah with a side of BLAH! LOL

Friends are… GREAT.
And a batter dipped deep fried PB&J Sandwich is AMAZING! I highly recommend if you ever get the chance.
