Where did you go time?
WOW people can you believe it's almost Christmas? Where did time go? This year was a fun one with some sad points but lots of not sad ones.
A lot of people I know (honey head being #1 on my mind) lost important people this year so getting them in the Christmas spirit is tough. If i stop and think too much about the people missing i can get caught up in a black cloud. I just have to remind myself of a few things: They aren't suffering anymore, They are watching us from above showering us with happy thoughts, and the time we had with them was a gift an amazing wonderful gift. Plus it was way better to have had them there no matter the time then to have never had them in our lives.
In other news i'm so super excited for everything!! Tonight i have Christmas with my mom & sister!! Plus you know the husbands and my cousin is joining us so my mom doesn't have to drive alone. There will be yummy food, presents, ice cream cake!!! Now i'm more looking forward to the presents i'm giving!!! I LOVE giving presents if i was rich it would be bad b/c i would be gifting people all the time. well maybe that wouldn't be bad... LOL
Saturday I'm going to my aunts and i am in the process of making a silly hat for my uncle when it's finished i hope to get a picture up here! I guess it's sort of a tradition crochet a terrible hat for my uncle. My mom started it and IS WAY better at it then me. but isn't that how it goes?
Sunday we go to honey head's Dad's house then to my other aunts for dinner! It should be a super fun time all around! I hope to keep the honey head in good spirits. He is Mr.Christmas but this year is just a little tough.
SO Merry Happy Holiday whatever you celebrate I hope it's amazing FUN filled with LOVE and you enjoy every moment.

Things i did instead of write...
Well i did lots of things. I read 3 Star Wars books in a matter of 17 days (see below picture)! I read one in 5 days, another in 5 days, and the last one in 7 days (to be fair one of those 7 days i didn't read at all). They were awesome books and YES i am officially glued to Star Wars books and it's all Honey head's friends fault! Yesterday on one rotten terrible work day one of the salesmen gave me 2 bags of Star Wars books! I am in heaven! I guess i'm good on books for a LONG while!
I crocheted a baby blanket in 7 days for honey head's friend who hooked me on Star Wars books! He and his wife are having a baby... clearly. LOL
I GOT MY NEW SKATES!! I have only skated in them twice b/c i was SUPER sick for like 3-4 weeks of yuck followed by YUCK with more YUCK on the side! But they are pretty and already i like the new abilities they give me to move up and down the track better! I'm still waiting on my new toe guards... that is a story for another day!
And finally I had THANKSGIVING with my family. Here you can see how much fun we have. The title of this photo is "I'm your cousin!" LOL I could explain it to you... but where is the fun in that?
So now your sort of caught up... in there i had a Derby game on the bank track. my team lost but i had tons of fun. For the game i baked some chocolate caramel filled cupcakes with chocolate caramel frosting... all made from scratch!! The caramel filling was a MESS! I hear they were yummy! I discovered this AWESOME device for icing cupcakes! When i make my next batch of cupcakes i'll post more b/c i forgot to take pictures of what the awesome cupcakes look like! (fail) And there was a bunch of other things that happened too... maybe someday i'll remember!

QUICK i'll get this in!
I have a bunch of posts i want to get to posting... but that takes effort and time... we all know how great i am about that.
So for now you get to settle for this one.
Well i have this grey (or is it gray) sweater that i really like... the honey head HATES IT! so i said "fine buy me a new grey (or gray) sweater then!" and that is what he did... i'll post the photos and you can put your two cents in... I like both of them. The one he hates reminds me of star wars in a very geek way b/c they wear lots of draping things. He says about the one he hates that it looks like i'm wearing a bunch of rags. Also the photo he said the sweater looks better then it does usually on me. (LOL) also also he wasn't super happy about me wanting to blog about it. So i thought i would make sure to give you all the information i could. anyways enjoy the photos and the little quick post.

Halloween that wasn't
So i was super excited for Halloween b/c i came up with an AWESOME costume for only 6$ and some change! It was going to be amazing! FUN! the bestest everest! THEN... i got sick! Like ewwww don't go back into general population sick stuck in bed can only eat soup (which i hate unless i'm sick) SICK! Also the honey head got sick. We were quite the pair. So i had to miss the Halloween party i was going to go to! Lets not forget to mention the SNOW we got... yes snow in October. Anyways. I'm super sad face and every time i see my costume in the living room i'm reminded of the pain!
But after sleeping and not seeing other human beings for 3 days i can finally say i'm mostly better! (LOL Mostly nice huh...) The illness was NOT fun and still isn't. Oh and my hip is all hurty which means no exercise for me... which is making me very not happy. UGh i'm a whine fest.
Well here is to a better week (i hope) and maybe a better post next time around! LOL

Honey Crisp Apple
No that isn't code for anything fancy... it's the type of apple i am eating right now and it's yummy... and giant... so it's for sharing. Spread the love.
So Popcorners are taking over my life and are FINALLY showing up in stores so i'm not just some crazy lady going on about an amazing snack that is made up & fake! I was really a day away from just ordering some on line when i found them at a Wegmans... then i found them at Giant yesterday on my way home (i stopped to get perogies which i haven't had in at least a year... for shame)! So the kettle ones are amazing! Sea salt also very yummy. The butter ones are ok... they have this strange under flavor of that powdered cheese from mac & cheese (which i hate). I have yet to try the white cheddar or Cheesy Jalapeno but i have good faith in them. NOW a popcorner is a triangle shaped popcorn chip like snack. I LOVE POPCORN but i HATE kernels... in fact i was going to try and purchase Hull Free popcorn a year or so ago till i realized it was a lot of money. SO popcorners are an amazing snack for a popcorn addict! Kernel free and AMAZING! Will it stop me from eating normal popcorn most likely not BUT it will help me eat less and annoy my teeth (gums) less! SO GO NOW FIND POPCORNERS (if you like popcorn) and make your mouth & tummy HAPPY!
Also i bought this tea that was half price it's green tea with cinnamon (Dilmah brand i have never heard of that brand) and it is YUMMY! i'm so glad i spent the 1.79$ on it. LOL yes it has caffeine but it is very yummy without sugar! My favorite tea quality.
Also a new fact i learned last night... green bananas are better for you then the fully ripe ones IF you are looking to fill up but not fill out... if you catch what i'm saying! A green banana is not fully digestible so if fills you up but leaves you with less calories absorbed! So EAT those green bananas! Also pistachio nuts the fat from them we don't absorb as much so eat away!! (well you know eat a serving... you still need to watch the calories)
Oh and i'm in love with the chocolate rice cakes! they are 60 calories in a cake and if you put some peanut butter on one... heaven! they have little mini chocolate chips in them... seriously try them... it's a good way to stop myself from going to wawa and buying their entire stock of Reece's pumpkins.
In annoying children news... My friend informed me when we were out a week or so ago that the SCREAMING child next to us wasn't bothering her b/c she is able to block it out. (she is a mother) That explained so much... and made me so sad all at the same time. So lets say 50% of the reason parents don't give an F about their screaming child is b/c they are blocking it out... (i may have said this before) wonderful. Sadly i can NOT block out your child's screams and i'm ready to smack them. Also my honey head and i were shopping and these two kids (lets say 10 years ish old i.e. should know better) were running YES running around a store almost knocking into people... knocking into displays for certain as their mom walked around "guys... stop......no really guys.... stop...." in a low library voice... LADY that is CLEARLY working so well for you. The dang kids didn't even pause for a moment... Effective parenting 101. Further cementing the shriveling of my eggs.

No tengo dinero! Or some such nonsense
Ugh. Yep i feel ugh. However that hasn't stopped me from working out so i guess that's good. Though i am debating just going to practice tonight and not actually practicing... how bad would that be?
I had lunch with my one co-worker today and she cracks me the heck up! She is Costa Rican and so sometimes words escape her. For example she was trying to explain a toy her step-daughter got. She says "It's a horse ssss (makes a motion with her hands)..." Me "Saddle?" Her "No a horse.... A HORSE HOUSE." Me "(laughing just a little) A stable?" Her "YES that word!" and we both laugh. She says her way sounds better. Then i'm leaving to go back to work and she was telling me how she had a yogurt with "i guess oatmeal..." me "granola?" Her "yeah that." Me "Ok horse house i gotta go." LOL we have a fun time picking on each other b/c believe me she picks on me too!
So that was my lunch today after standing in a non-moving line for 15 minutes before abandoning ship and heading to sublameway. Not that the line i was standing in was any better saladlameworks. Wednesday is deal day at saladworks and it was packed crazy packed. Yuck!
Also my new favorite game (not) is dodging sales calls at work. currently i have two relentless sales men calling me... always wanting an appointment... meanwhile the people i WANT to hear back from don't have the time of freaking day for me. It's super fun.
