I might explode...

So Saturday we have our first open to the public bank track game ish... it's not an official GAME. but it's enough Game to make me a ball of nerves! Eppppp. I don't know what position i'll be playing and i think both teams are pretty well matched so it's any ones game. I am ready to explode from all the nerves.

It will be super awesome and lots of fun as all things derby usually are. (other then the BS drama people create) I just get so worked up before a game. Thankfully this one is earlier then normal so i wont be withering away all day about it. I didn't win league Tums Junkie for nothing.

In other news... I go back to the dentist Monday to most likely get 1.5 million cavities filled. which = making a nice down payment on a car for the dentist. But i will finally be able to get it over with! Oh i forgot to mention how the dentist asked if i would be getting gas at my next appointment last time. And i laughed and said "most likely." and she said "But you did so well this time." HELLO did you miss the part where i got the gas and that's how i "did so well?" LOL poor naive dentist... i don't think you want bleedy bloody nubs where your fingers use to be b/c you didn't give me gas and i bit down on your hands. Just saying.

Work is you know... work. Honey head is cute as usual. And everyone else is just as crazy as me if not more so... so all in all things are going well.

Teeth making me their bitch.

So I started the day (thursday) HONEST TO BAKED GOODS thinking “I really need to find a dentist and get an appointment before I do anything else medical or otherwise.” Really truly I was thinking that to myself (it’s only been oh 11 years or so since I have been to one… I know that is terrible). So I put it on my to do list (in my head) of things that HOPEFULLY I will do. Go about my day.

Eat crunchy things… have lunch… finish lunch… feel around my mouth… um… what is that jagged evil spot way back in my mouth… is that… NO… NO… it can’t be. Get to the bathroom and look at my tooth… indeed it is I broke a cusp off my very back tooth as well as a good chunk of my tooth. Thank you teeth for making my need to get you looked at more urgent and pressing.

This of course sends me into a downward spiral that of which THANKFULLY my husband gracefully pulled me out of. I e-mail him about it and clearly (because I cussed a bunch) display my state of panic. He stepped in right away and within half an hour had a dental office 10 minutes from my work that used nitrous (laughing gas) with an appointment. Seriously people and had it so our insurance covered me (that usually takes weeks b/c you’re supposed to set a dentist way before you go to one). He is my hero. (at least for now… LOL I am after all a woman)

So I go to the office and most everyone is nice even the receptionist which BY THE WAY is a miracle! But all that still induced my want to panic! The ONE person that wasn’t nice was the dental hygienist I think… or assistant. She took my xrays and was really snotty BUT it’s ok b/c the nice dentist gave me laughing gas and made it all seem better.

Some of my thoughts while on the gas… WOW my hands are so tiny… tiny little hands (which they are not!). Wow assistant lady lay off the onions and you’re a bitch. I cracked up at least 3 times and I’m sure I was sitting there with a dumb smile on my face as I’m slobbering everywhere and have a million things sticking out of my mouth. Also I thought “if my friends could only see me now they would be cracking up.”

Some things I noticed that I think come from a unclouded mind were how all dentist offices look the same once you have to open wide and tilt your head up. Same ceiling tiles, same lights, same other light shinning all up in your face… which is what started my panic attack b/c I was having flash backs to terrible dentist memories. “IF you don’t stop screaming we’re going to make your MOTHER go in the waiting room!” To which my mom responded “Like hell you are.” B/c please yeah right. But I was 7-8 and believed the dentist really had that authority until my mom chimed in.

Also this office had TV’s in the corner of the “exam rooms” for the “patient” but um… once my head is tilted up and my mouth wide open I can’t see that TV and I certainly can’t hear it over the drills and junk. But I noticed the assistant watching the TV instead of doing what she was supposed to be doing in my mouth. Thanks for trying with the TV but next time I’m bringing my iPod or something.

BUT my mouth wasn’t numb for hours after not even hour after. This has NEVER happened to me ever. I usually go home and sleep in a river of my own drool for hours after the dentist b/c I hate the feeling of numb and I am afraid I will swallow the pcs of filling that they don’t get left in your mouth after. However for the 1st time in the history of my dental nightmares I mean past my numbness went away within 30 minutes or less and I was able to eat and talk and swallow!

So I guess what I’m saying is Advanced Dental Smiles in Hatboro on York road… you have my approval! Also you called today to check up on me… Gold star! Highly recommend people! HIGHLY.

As the skate wheels turn...

Work has been blah as i'm trying to find motivation to figure out the puzzle that is my new position at work... Oy to that.

BUT personal non work life has been good. I made honey heads b-day super awesome and fun. I know he loved everything b/c he said so. LOL we still have too much cake in the house for my liking so i'm going to need to trick others into eating it... hmmmm...

I got lots of fun cheap things at the outlets! I love that... now i want to go back and find more cheap things... good luck to that. We finally got our photos from the wedding photographer... Oy what a test that has been! All she had to do was tell the truth... that is all. A good business practice would be honesty. But maybe that's just my opinion. She did an ok job... i know that some of it is our fault b/c we really had no idea what pictures we wanted where... but what can you do.

The honey head keeps saying "NEXT TIME." and i go ummm "next time?" as far as i know you get married to someone once... and please dear God going through that once is all i ever want! Planning and executing a wedding is like cutting a finger off and getting it re attached... yes that much fun.

We are supposedly getting closer to a bank track game... i'm excited nervous and all the things i am for a flat track game x 100. The bank track is fun but scary... at least with the flat ground you know where you going down... or into the wall... with the bank track your not so sure where your going... and the thought of falling on your butt leads to scary visions. BUT as always i will enjoy it and take on the new challenge... i think... i hope...

People say TGIF i say AMEN

This week has been crawling by and sort of giving me the finger i think. Not to say there wasn't fun things (lots in fact AFTER WORK) b/c i'm mostly talking about the time spent at work. SO i am over the moon excited that it's Friday! no matter the weather! Thank you for Friday.

My game on saturday was super fun! even if our team lost i had lots of fun and that is why i love roller derby so very much. Not to mention the great friendships i have made and am still making. Derby people for the most part are fun it's when they start letting the typical everyday drama invade their minds. Let it fall to the side and just have FUN. That's what i say.

Lots of things are changing around me... and to that i say bring on the good, the happy and more of the happy! Leave the troubles behind (and kick em once for me). 2011 is going to be a good year if i have to beat it into submission (which i'm willing to do).

If you can't tell... i'm bored and i can't wait for work to be over today. I have a great weekend ahead and a foot. yeah i'm corny... get over it.

No more BOOM

Well remember the 2 people i was training... well it wasn't my imagination that the one was incapable of learning and she quit. BUT she made sure to try to blame a few people instead of just admitting defeat. What a total well you can just put your own word in!

No snowboarding thus far it's been too warm or i have been too busy. UGH. and since i refuse to go to Camelback the husband (i can say that now) is being all "well we need to rent a room and stay the night..." yeah b/c i need to spend an extra 25-50$ like i need a hole in my face.

DERBY is in full swing so far so GREAT! the sick i think has officially left this building. Phew i was getting a bit pissy. I have a game i'm super excited about this weekend! I have just a few things to work out to make it even more exciting and super awesome!

Industry Card Day was nice. The HUSBAND got me a gift card and then was totally great that i spent the night with Derby instead of him. LOL so we went out tuesday night and i got some really yummy chicken parm! YUM!!

Well i'm out have a super great happy yummy fluffy pillow time Wednesday (b/c i hate saying hump day oops i just said it. damn.)!

Two in the bag none in the hand

I have been training two new people at work and i guess as with anyone new it's sure is a tough learning curve! And it feels more like i have no one to help rather then two new people. Like i get negative work done. lets say normally i would get +1000 things done in my day now i feel like i get -800 things done. and like i'm, ME personally getting more stupid with time. Training = Draining

In other news i hope to finally be healthy once again so i can get back into roller derby full force and get my rear in better gear! Being with a cold or flu off and on for the past few weeks seems like it's been forever! i just want to be normal again!! or not sick... i never was normal was i...

In other other news i also want to go snowboarding LOTS before the season ends... which seems like it's going to end so soon. All those people wishing for spring are really putting a crimp in my style! Bastards.

i guess i'll end this by saying weekend... where are you?

Mrs.

Wow i am now officially a Mrs. Everything was wonderful, amazing, exactly what i was hoping for, and FUN. It was so much fun and i couldn't have asked for more. It snowed lots so fresh snow was everywhere looking so pretty (no need for decorations!). The mountain was awesome. The houses were totally beautiful! and the people... the People were fun and nice and just marvelous.

My honey head (now husband) was handsome and dapper and so very delightful. He was cute & filled with such happiness. Every brides dream come true. When i say that he is always there for me i really mean that. SO when we finally were married it just added to the wonderful life we share.

I am trying to not be too gushing but i am seriously so beyond happy to be a Mrs.
